Elana Herzog has worked in her Brooklyn studio since 1983. She earned her B.A from Bennington College, Vt. and her M.F.A. from SUNY Alfred. She has had solo exhibitions at P.P.O.W., GAGA, Black and Herron, Florence Lynch gallery, and Momenta Art in New York City, at Zilkha Gallery at Wesleyan University, and the Nelson Gallery at UC Davis. Her work has been included in the Chilean Biennial, and at White Columns, Nicole Klagsbrun gallery and the Brooklyn Museum in New York, and the Kohler Museum in Wisconsin. In 1999 she received a Joan Mitchell Foundation Grant and a New York Foundation for the Arts fellowship.
