Linda Herritt uses maps and scientific diagrams to examine the juncture of nature, spectacle, and technology. She has exhibited at Pierogi 2000,
Brooklyn, Art & Idea, Mexico City, and Sal de Bal, Vienna. Her awards include a Pollack Krasner Award, a US/Mexico Fund for Culture Award from the Rockefeller Foundation, a NEA Sculpture Fellowship, and both a MacDowell Colony and Art/Omi Residency. Currently, Herritt is participating in the Marie Walsh Sharpe Foundations New York Space Program
